Bal Vikas — meaning "Child Blossoming" — is a spiritual education programme for children that focuses on character development and the cultivation of the five universal human values taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Conducted every Sunday morning at Sri Sathya Sai Sudha Mandir, Bal Vikas creates a nurturing space for children to grow spiritually, morally, and emotionally — helping them blossom into responsible, compassionate, and loving individuals.

Children of families in the Sai community who wish to give their children a spiritual foundation.
Open to all children in the community regardless of background — every child is welcome.
Dedicated volunteer teachers — Bal Vikas Gurus — who guide, nurture, and inspire the children with love and patience.
At the heart of Bal Vikas are the five universal human values — Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema, and Ahimsa. These are not merely lessons taught in class. They are ways of being — qualities cultivated through every story, every song, every prayer, every activity.

Enrolment in Bal Vikas is open to all children in the community. There is no barrier of faith, background, or tradition — every child is welcomed with love.
